The History Department at Emmanuel College consists of 5 full-time and 2-3 adjunct faculty.

Our teaching and research interests vary widely, allowing us to explore virtually all the regions of the globe. Our approach is Trans-National in scope, examining regions, countries, cultures, and economies from comparative perspectives. At Emmanuel College, you can take classes on slavery in a Global context, Modern Latin America, Asia, Transnational Migrations, Modern Europe, Boston and New England, among numerous other topics.
